Services
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
The Rapids Veterinary Hospital provides day emergency services to our current, active clients during regular business hours. To be maintained as an active client we need to have seen your pet for a physical exam at least every 18 months. We recommend all after-hour emergency calls be directed to The London Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital or one of the other 24 hour facilities listed below. These hospitals are staffed to provide 24 hour emergency medical and surgical care for your pet. We recommend that you call the emergency hospital prior to departure. Sometimes depending on case load at the emergency clinic and your pet’s emergency, the hospital may refer you to another location. Emergency hospitals work on the triage system, where the most urgent cases are seen first.
